Day 1 at the AHICE Future Leaders Forum in Adelaide was a powerful start to our conference experience, offering deep insights into property development, hospitality growth, and market outlooks. The panels and presentations throughout the day explored emerging opportunities in real estate, the impressive rise of hospitality groups like YHL, and the current pulse of the hotel industry from a leadership perspective. We’re incredibly grateful to the industry veterans and professionals who generously shared their experiences, strategies, and advice with the next generation of leaders. As a young business, these conversations helped sharpen our perspective and reminded us of the importance of adaptability, vision, and long-term thinking in navigating the ever-evolving landscape of hospitality and property. We thank industry leaders for sharing their experiences and vast wealth of knowledge with us and we at IAS hope to stay connected and hopefully work with these legends.
Day 2 at AHICE Adelaide was a deep dive into the future of hospitality, investment, and innovation — and for a growing business like Infinite Asset Solutions, it was a day packed with clarity and direction.
The morning began with a powerful Q&A featuring Rajeev Menon, President of Marriott International APEC, whose take on leadership, operational resilience, and brand evolution struck a strong chord with our own mission. Hearing directly from Premier Peter Malinauskas later in the day also reinforced how state-backed growth and infrastructure can create real opportunities for operators and service providers in hospitality.
The Australasian Operations Outlook session brought together regional heads from Marriott, IHG, Accor, BWH Hotels, and Choice Hotels — providing us with key takeaways on how leading hotel groups are navigating workforce challenges, guest expectations, and market trends. For IAS, these learnings are invaluable in refining how we deliver consistency and flexibility across all our partnerships.
Equally exciting was the ‘Micro Magic’ session, which spotlighted fast-emerging lifestyle brands that are reshaping the guest experience through smart design and community-first thinking. As a company built on adapting to the unique needs of each property, we were inspired by the bold ideas shared by leaders from QCC Collection, LyLo, TFE Hotels, and more.
From investment outlooks with figures like Dr Jerry Schwartz and Ross Pelligra, to practical insights on regional tourism and franchising models, Day 2 made it clear: the hospitality industry is shifting fast — and there’s room for forward-thinking, values-driven companies to lead the way.
Thank you to all the speakers, moderators, and AHICE organisers for shaping conversations that genuinely help businesses like ours grow smarter and serve better.
Day 3 at AHICE wrapped up a powerhouse week of insights, innovation, and inspiration — with a clear focus on sustainability, people, and the future of investment and experience in hospitality.
The day kicked off with Q&A sessions that brought global visionaries to the stage, including Markus Keller (Accor), Antony Ritch (TFE Hotels), Norman Arundel (EVT), Elie Younes (Radisson Hotel Group), and Barry Robinson (Travel + Leisure Co). Their leadership journeys, brand strategies, and outlooks for 2025 reminded us that strong operational frameworks must always be rooted in adaptability and bold, people-first thinking.
Sustainability was a major theme, and the panel on this front offered best-practice examples that challenged the industry to think beyond compliance and toward long-term impact. Sessions on luxury market outlooks, aviation and tourism trends, and lifestyle brand growth all highlighted the growing emphasis on experience, community, and brand authenticity — values we’re proud to embed into our own operations at Infinite Asset Solutions.
The investment sessions — particularly ‘The Money’ and Part 2 of the Asia-Pacific Outlook — gave us a clearer sense of what investors are prioritizing: resilient segments, innovative developments, and aligned partnerships. For us at IAS, this reaffirms the value of being both flexible and future-ready in how we service properties looking to scale.
One of the most meaningful takeaways came from the People & Culture panel, where HR and operational leaders across brands discussed what it truly takes to build strong teams in an industry under constant pressure. It was a timely reminder that culture isn’t just a buzzword — it’s a business advantage.
We’re leaving AHICE 2025 with sharper insight, deeper connections, and an even stronger commitment to evolving alongside the hospitality sector. A big thank you to all speakers, panellists, and the AHICE team for curating such a valuable experience for businesses like ours.
A special thank you to the incredible individuals we had the pleasure of connecting with during the conference — Sonny Vrebac, Manav Khera, Boyd McGuigan, and George Mitchell. Your generosity in sharing insights, experiences, and advice was a highlight of our time at AHICE. Conversations like these are what make this industry truly collaborative, and we’re grateful for the chance to learn from such thoughtful and driven professionals.
